The Ipswich Humane Group is teaming up with Marini Farm in Ipswich to host a Doggy Maze Daze Fundraiser to support the Ipswich animal shelter. One weekend only Marini Farm will open the corn maze for pet owners and their four legged friends! Guests can bring their canine companions and get lost in the maze!
Grab your 4-legged friend and head on down to The Green at MarketStreet Lynnfield for the best doggy social hour this side of the sun! We’ve partnered with PolkaDog Bakery to bring you Dog Friendly Vendors, A Photo Booth and Giveaways! Notch Brewing will be in attendance to quench your thirst.
Join Salem Main Streets for Howl-o-ween featuring plenty of fun and games, information about local rescues and pet-focused downtown businesses, and most importantly, a pet parade and costume contest with prizes!
Salem is going to the dogs (and cats and lizards and bunnies), and we couldn’t be happier about it! Salem Main Streets is very pleased to produce the fifth annual Howl-o-ween Pet Parade, to be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 1 pm on Derby Wharf, Salem Maritime National Historic Site (160 Derby Street).
An interactive, fun festival for the entire family and for a great cause! Friendly dogs are welcome (must be leashed)! Come to Essex, throw a blanket down, listen to some tunes and hang out with us for the day! You can enjoy music by a favorite local band, Way To The River, shop the new fall SPR merchandise, participate in our cornhole tournament, play some lawn games just for fun or even just relax and have something to eat and drink amongst good company!
Come to the Marblehead Street Festival at Bank Square (intersection of Washington and Hopper Street). This festival is a fun tradition that's part of 4th of July celebrations! There will be something for everone including magic, street perfromers, live music, face painting, sidewalk chalk art, henna tattoos, fairy houses, juggling, hula hoops and more.
The Notch Mobile Biergarten will be visiting Project Adventure on Moraine Farm in Beverly. Admission is free, there will be food for sale from the crew at Bambolina, and visitors will be able to explore the private property designed by the renown landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted. Enjoy a day outside with friends, family, good food, and great beer. Dogs are welcome and there is on-site parking available.
Kids are invited to come read to Nanook, a Gorgeous Siberian Husky and Dog B.O.N.E.S. certified therapy dog. Get some reading practice and stress relief reading to him at the Library! Call (978-744-9667) or visit the Children's Room to make a 15-minute appointment.
Come see the Super Bowl trophy at Cape Ann Animal Aid on Saturday, April 20, 2019 between 1-4pm. Snap a photo, touch a piece of history, and celebrate the Pats! And, as an extra bonus...while you're here, you can meet and greet shelter animals! Woof! Meow! See you there!
Our friends from Last Hope K9 Rescue will be at the Library with several dogs and puppies in need of forever homes. Come by to meet the dogs (and maybe find your new best friend!).
