The NYS Youth Council presents the HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL. Kids in grades 6-8 can come o the Nock Gym for some some Halloween fune! Pay at the door $5 for Rec Center Members/ $10 for non-members. Costume contest, games, Dancing, Photo Booth, Food and More. The event is 6-9pm, participants can leave at any time, but no re-entry is allowed. The event is planned, organized and run by members of the Youth Council and Supervised by NYS Staff.
Salem’s first Children’s Costume Ball in the heart of Downtown Salem will be an event you won’t want to miss! This October, join the Good Witch of Salem as she hosts a costume ball for children of all ages at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites! Come dressed to “trick” or “treat” in your spookiest, glamorous, silliest or homemade costume creation!

The Ipswich Ale Brewery will be one stop that you won't want to miss on your trick-or-treating route this year! Swing by the brewery for free beer samples and take in the spooky sights and sounds of the brewery. Don't forget to bring the kids and let them sip on an Ipswich Soda Pop or snack on some candy while they show off their costumes!

May the 4th is commonly known as Star Wars Day. This year, Newburyport Youth Services is excited to announce that we will be holding our 2nd Annual Star Wars party from 6:00-8:30pm. Families and kids of all ages are invited to join us for some or all of this “out of this world” event. Whether with the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire… all are welcome.
