Baby Boot Camp Celebrates!

At Baby Boot Camp, moms get exercise while kids have fun!

Bring the whole family for a fun, FREE workout at beautiful Lynch Park in Beverly, MA. Moms*, dads, siblings, and grandparents are all invited to check out what Baby Boot Camp has to offer. Starting promptly at 9:00 at the Cove Community Center on East Corning Street, class will involve cardiovascular drills and strength training (all modifiable for prenatal* or extra intensity) and will conclude with refreshments, giveaways, and class discounts. Children are encouraged to bring a push-toy or stroller and their favorite stuffed friend for a special pint-sized workout at the conclusion of class. Come for an hour or come for a few minutes, but don’t miss out!

At Baby Boot Camp, moms get exercise while kids have fun!

Baby Boot Camp stroller-based fitness classes are designed specifically to help moms get fit. It takes the place of a personal trainer at a time in your life when you need one more than ever. Classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength. The stroller, resistance tubes (and even your child!) are used as an integral part of the workout. Come try it - the first class is always FREE!

Turn off your digital devices and bring the family to the library for no-screen

Is there too much screen time going on in your household? Coordinated Family & Community Engagement of Hamilton-Wenham presents and evening of fun with music by Peter Stewart, arts and crafts, activities for all ages and an opportunity to visit with representatives from local schools and community members at our first annual Brain Building in Progress Week Celebration! For ages 0-8 with caregiver, older siblings are welcome. The first 50 families in the door will get books and a gift bag.

Get handprints and/or footprints done in clay as a gift, or just as a treasure.

Mud Puddle Toys is giving parents of the North Shore a great opportunity to create a keepsake that is bound to last a lifetime.  Come to their Salem location with your children, where they will have professional artisans from the North Shore Clay Studio cast their footprints and hand prints in clay. Names, dates, or any other text can be painted on the casts when they are glazed.  These tiles make great gifts for Father's Day or any occasion!
