Bring the whole family for a fun, FREE workout at beautiful Lynch Park in Beverly, MA. Moms*, dads, siblings, and grandparents are all invited to check out what Baby Boot Camp has to offer. Starting promptly at 9:00 at the Cove Community Center on East Corning Street, class will involve cardiovascular drills and strength training (all modifiable for prenatal* or extra intensity) and will conclude with refreshments, giveaways, and class discounts. Children are encouraged to bring a push-toy or stroller and their favorite stuffed friend for a special pint-sized workout at the conclusion of class. Come for an hour or come for a few minutes, but don’t miss out!
* Please note, in compliance with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Council on Exercise, mothers must be at least six-weeks postpartum and pregnant mothers may exercise with a doctor’s note.
About Baby Boot Camp - North Shore, MA
Baby Boot Camp is a national fitness program that helps moms lose pregnancy weight, spend time with their babies, and enjoy the support of other local mothers. Classes are taught by Melissa Smith, an ACE-certified personal trainer, certified pre-/postnatal fitness specialist through Prepared Childbirth Educators as well as a new mom, marathon runner, and pediatric nurse. She enjoys teaching Baby Boot Camp three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 9:00) in addition to a new Strollga class debuting Tuesday afternoons at Dane Street Beach at 4:30.
