Shop for quality consigned goods with proceeds benefitting the CMNH!

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire is having a major Spring consignment sale of children’s clothing and gear with proceeds to benefit the museum! This sale will offer gently used, good quality children’s clothes, baby clothes and gear, footwear, costumes, toys, nursery furniture and décor, sports equipment, books, music, and videos at outstanding prices. Maternity wear will also be available. People who consign items will earn 60% of the revenue from their sold items. The remaining net proceeds will benefit the Children’s Museum of NH and its vital education and outreach programs.

New England Forests Exhibit

The New England Forest Exhibit at Harvard's Museum of Natural History

The Harvard Museum of Natural History presents a multi-media exhibition that explores the natural history and ecology of our regional forests, their responses to human activity, and their environmental significance. Visitors are invited to explore the ecology of woodland caribou, wolves, and other wildlife of New England; learn about lichen cities that cling to rocks; and the circle of life within and around a forest pond from tiny aquatic insects to giant moose.

Beloved local author and illustrator Ed Emberley and his daughter Rebecca present a special exhibit of illustrations from their collection of frightfully-friendly Monster books. This award-winning author-illlustrator team uses brightly colored simple geometric shapes and thumbprints to teach young artists the basics of drawing. Young visitors will delight in the silly stories and playful images the Emberly's use to help demystify the imaginary world of monsters.
