Felts & Fibers: A Wool Festival at PEM

Peabody Essex Museum celebrates the world of wool and the products that are created from this raw material in a weekend-long festival! There have been many uses for wool throughout history and across cultures dating back as far as 6000 B.C.E. Wool is made from the hair or fleece of certain animals such as sheep, goats, llamas - and even rabbits! Come explore where wool comes from as part of PEM's ongoing Art Materials and Creative Experience program.

Meadow Winter Carnival 2019

Come to the Danvers Meadows for some outdoor family fun on the ice!

Outdoor family fun, courtesy of the Friends of the Meadow, TD Club, Danvers Youth Hockey and Danvers DPW. Planned for the day youth hockey games, kids races, hot chocolate & more! The Danvers meadow is located on Hobart Street across from the Danvers DPW. Parking will be available at the DPW until 6pm.

Chirstmas at Castle Hill is a weekend of festivities hosted by the Trustees of Reservations at Castle Hill in Ipswich Massachusetts

Each room in our 1920s mansion is festively decorated by florists, designers, garden clubs, or volunteers. The New England Chocolate Festival brings you together with 16 New England chocolate companies to taste, learn, and interact. The companies invited to participate in the Festival have all been hand-selected for their focus on quality and ethics. They prize craftsmanship and flavor excellence while sourcing ingredients in a transparent manner. Also attending are several cacao and chocolate producers from countries including Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Mexico, Peru, Thailand, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
