All ages are welcome for our Fifth Annual Pumpkin Carving contest on Saturday the 27th! There will be some fall snacks, beautiful pumpkins to be carved, and great prizes for the winning pumpkins (both kids and adults).

Wenham Museum celebrates community creativitiy with their new LEGO art exhibit! A display of over 60 unique sculptures by amateur and semi-professional LEGO artists showcases the creative talents of the community using a unique artistic medium. Carefully-configured towers, creatures and imaginary places built by children and adults will move and amaze you! Think out-of-the-box and build your own miniature masterpieces at our creative stations in this colorful exhibit.
Kids will learn about the lace industry in Ipswich, view lace from the Museum’s collection and complete some lacy crafts. Complements summer exhibit. For all ages.
Kids will learn about the traditional art of rug hooking and try hooking their own sample. This program complements our summer exhibit. Ages 6 and up. Pre-registration recommended.
The Beverly Rec Department and the Wenham Council on Aging are hosting a kite day at Build a Kite... Enjoy great food... Learn How to Fly a Kite... Slow Art Day is a worldwide celebration of art that encourages people to look at art SLOWLY. At PEM the goal is to get "inspired not tired." We'll give families fun suggestions and sketching activities to make looking at art slowly a great sharing experience.
Have you ever wondered if there was some way you could recycle styrofoam trays and packaging? Well, there is! Join Newburyport artisan and re-maker Pam Farren teaches techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints using recycled styrofoam trays, paper and ink. Stop by and try your hand at making a miniature work of art! This is a Free program in the Children's Activity Room and all materials are provided, but you're encouraged to bring styrofoam trays from home to use or share.
Pathways for Children invites you to a FREE Night at the Movies for a screening of 'Despicable Me' in the Multipurpose Room of Pathways for Children! Come walk down the red carpet dressed as your favorite movie character with prizes for the most creative costumes and popcorn for all! The goal of The Ould Towne Heritage Fair is to show a glimpse of how our ancestors may have lived, and inspire visitors to assist in the support to raise the urgently needed funds. All proceeds from the Ould Towne Heritage Fair will be directed to the purchase price to acquire Newman Farm Meadow.
