CAM Pop-up Portrait Workshop

Cape Ann residents of all ages are invited to join Museum Educator Kendall Reynolds for a self portrait workshop. Sit down at a family style table in the Museum’s auditorium with members of the Cape Ann community to draw a portrait of yourself in oil pastel. This portrait workshop is part of a community-wide public art project to be unveiled at the June 2020 opening of the Museum’s expanded campus. Hope to see you there!

Tattersall Farm Animal Rescue Day

NEER North is thrilled to be a part of the Animal Rescue day at the beautiful Tattersall Farm Grounds in Haverhill, MA

Trustees of Tattersall Farm are hosting a free guinea pig petting zoo and Animal Adoption Day at the Farm, 542 North Broadway, on Sunday, June 13, from noon to 3 p.m. Sheep, bunny, minihorse, and dog rescue leagues will be included. This event will help area rescue leagues to find loving homes for their various animals. Stop by and see these adorable animals!

Explore the beaches of the Crane Estate in IPswich with thte Trustees of Reservations!

Join us as we investigate the tidepools and the wrackline on Steep Hill Beach to discover and record the many creatures that live along the shore. We’ll (carefully and gently!) use nets to capture specimens and magnifying glasses to take an up-close-and-personal look, before releasing our new friends back to where we found them. We’ll talk about our observations and discoveries – and surprise ourselves with how much we can learn by looking. An educational adventure for the whole family.
