GNOCA's 5K Run/Walk in Honor of Jackie Poor & Paula Holm is a 5k Run or Family Friendly Stroll through Scenic Newburyport starting & ending at Michael's Harborside. Event takes place at the Salem Willows Shell, with the Salem High School Auditorium serving as a rain location.

Theater in the Open proudly hosts Circus Smirkus' 2024 Big Top Tour! Every summer, a freshly auditioned company of Smirkus Troupers, ages 10 to 18, take to the road in traditional mud show fashion for a two-month performance tour of New England. Backed by professional coaches, cooks, musicians and crew, our Smirkos perform to sell-out crowds in Circus Smirkus’ very own 750-seat European-style one-ring big top tent.
Quintessential Brass takes the role of the brass quintet to the limit and beyond playing Classical, jazz, rock, funk and pop hits, as well as music from movies, TV, Broadway and the Big Band Era. Programs are selected to entertain audiences of all ages. This brass quintet consists of five full-time professional musicians who have, individually, performed with groups all over the world, recorded CDs and movie soundtracks, performed for Presidents, and at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
