he YWCA Greater Newburyport is excited to host its Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Breakfast on Monday, January 20, 2025, 9:30 am at the Newburyport Community Senior Center, 333 High Street, Newburyport, MA. with Keynote Speaker: Katrina “Kat” Hobbs Everett. “Kat” is an anti-racist, activist, educator who made history as the first Black woman and first woman of color to be elected to the Haverhill City Council.
Maudslay is Haunted is a North Shore Kid favorite! Theater in the Open’s notorious annual haunting of Maudslay invites you to join a cast of all ages for a one-hour walk through eerie vignettes, spooky sketches and haunting scenes, all in the autumn grandeur of Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. Bring the whole family for a variety of tricks and treats, this family event is intended for all ages.
For three days, this annual family friendly art festival transforms downtown Salem into an opportunity for the arts community to showcase their talents. The popular free event will feature many artists and performers, and includes a variety of art, music, dance, and theatre performances. The family-friendly festival also includes art-making for all ages, artisan vendors selling their creations, and a temporary public art installation.
