This event has been cancelled. The Trustees of Reservations invites kids and their families to shake off the winter cold and join us as we celebrate springtime at Long Hill with our very special Spring Egg Hunt Trail! During this fun, family event, you’ll explore the trail and complete an exciting scavenger hunt as you go. Then, spend some time creating a spring-themed craft and visit the petting zoo on site. This springtime celebration is perfect for the whole family.

The first three weekends of December, join us for our annual Holidays on the Hill event! This festive celebration with music and cheer is sure to get the whole family in the holiday spirit.
Join The Trustees of Reservations at the Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens for Halloween fun! The gardens have transformed in to our Ghoulish Gardens! Take a walk through the meadow to read our Story Stroll brought to you by the Stevens Memorial Library. Then, hunt down the hidden pumpkins throughout the rest of the property to win a prize at the end.

Join us at Heron Pond Farm for some food science! We'll be right at the spot where the food grows so learn through a book about sciencist and then experiment yourself to learn something new! This program will end with exploration of the Children's Garden. This is aimed for K - 4th graders. No registration is required.
To encourage outdoor play and exploration of the great outdoors, this nature-based toddler playgroup will combine themed guided play with opportunities for free time for children and their caregivers to peek under rocks, inspect tree bark for hiding bugs and explore the gardens.
The Amesbury Public Library invites kids to make seed bombs! Come by after school and create a seed ball! Stop by and get a little messy with this fun project that helps spread native seeds around. All ages and everyone is welcome to make one. This program is outside and weather dependent!
Join the Park Interpreter on a walk to view the fantastic floral landscape and identify the different varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas in bloom! Maudslay State Park has one of the best stands of rhododendrons in New England, and well worth the trip! Come stroll the park check the sign at headquarters to find the park interpreter location and learn about some of these beauties.
Celebrate the arrival of springtime with this exciting, family-friendly drop-in art project! Take inspiration from all the new blooms in the garden and craft your very own flower. Feel free to arrive anytime between 10AM and 1PM to participate.
