Experience the rich cultural heritage of Salem, Massachusetts at the House of Seven Gables ! All are invited to a vibrant celebration of food, music, traditions, and more. Since its founding, The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association has been dedicated to helping newly immigrated individuals and their families to thrive in the United States. While the groups arriving in Salem have changed over the years, The Gables’ drive to provide guidance and education has not. We are taking this special day to celebrate the backgrounds and cultures of students in the ESL and Citizenship classes at The House of the Seven Gables and how they have contributed to the growth of such a diverse and colorful city.
The Salem Ice Scream Bowl is a chance to taste some classic favorite flavors, as well as a few new ones, from the area’s best ice cream shops, and is a great time for children as well as adults. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children, CASH ONLY. Spoons and napkins will be supplied with purchase of a ticket. Tickets are purchased on site on the day of the event.

Make time for a Traditional Lobster Bake, Chowder, Chicken, etc. available all day at Lynch Park. Dine at picnic tables under the tent while listening to local bands. Local businesses, politicians, and non-profits will be set up around the park to share information with you. Amazingly, 90% all the trash from this event is diverted from the waste stream with the help of Beverly’s Waste Reduction Committee. Keep your eye out for composting and recycling stations under the tent. Cash and cards accepted. Check our website and facebook page for updates on the price of lobster the day before Lobster Fest.
