Hometown Holiday with Santa
The Community House is pleased to host Santa Claus once again this year as part of our longstanding tradition with our friends from the North Pole. In honor of Santa’s visit, the unique and historic structure, built in 1921, will be decorated in traditional holiday style. Portraits will be taken by Santa’s helpers.
Holidays at Hale Farm
The Holidays are back at Historic Beverly’s Hale Farm! Join us as we share the story of the Rev. John Hale house through three centuries of holiday history. Holiday tours will be offered throughout the day. Special sales on shop items take place weekly. Bring the kids!
Sleigh Bell Artisan Fair
Each November, the Wenham Museum hosts this festive fair of hand-crafted artisan goods. This is a fine occasion to bring the whole family to the museum for a day of fun. Exhibits will be open with special programming and activities for the kids and shopping for the adults.
Swampscott Farmer's Market Halloween Parade
Join the fun at the Swampscott Farmer's Market. We will line up at noon and take a walk through the market so the kids can show off their Halloween costumes.
NYS Halloween Festival
The NYS Youth Council presents the HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL. Kids in grades 6-8 can come o the Nock Gym for some some Halloween fune! Pay at the door $5 for Rec Center Members/ $10 for non-members. Costume contest, games, Dancing, Photo Booth, Food and More. The event is 6-9pm, participants can leave at any time, but no re-entry is allowed. The event is planned, organized and run by members of the Youth Council and Supervised by NYS Staff.
Trunk or Treat at BHS
Trunk or Treat 2022 hosted by Family Promise North Shore Boston! This is a FREE event that will be held at Beverly High School on Saturday Oct 29th. There will be candy, costumes, a fun pumpkin decorating table, and prizes! Come celebrate halloween in a fun and safe way! Tell your friends - ALL ARE WELCOME!
Haunted Movies on the Common: Hocus Pocus
Grab a blanket and the kids and head over to Salem Common at dusk for an outdoor showing of some favorite family-friendly movies that will get you in the mood for a spooktacular Halloween! This screening is sponsored by Creative Collective!

Grab a blanket and the kids and head over to Salem Common at dusk for an outdoor showing of some favorite family-friendly movies that will get you in the mood for a spooktacular Halloween! Join the City of Salem and Creative Collective on October 2, 2022, in an outdoor screening of Hocus Pocus 2 at the Salem Common, the very same park where Allison and Max walked to school in Hocus Pocus! Please note, the Salem Common is an outdoor venue and seating is not provided. We recommend bringing blankets, pillows, and hoodies. The Food Court will be open on the Common
Essex Shipbuilding Farmers Market
Head over to the Essex Shipbuilding Museum Shipyard. Fill your empty bags and baskets with veggies, eggs, flowers, crafts and other goodies. Grab a quick dinner from the Shipyard Grille and enjoy the evening by the water.
