Cellist Owen Young will be the featured soloist in Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1. He is an audience favorite and always brings his incredible artistry and personal charm to his performances. Also on the program, Mendelssohn's musical description of the Hebrides and Beethoven's beautiful Symphony No. 4.
Join us for a workshop on making Ukrainian Eggs! Presented by Kati Bourque, Head of Technical Services here at the Hamilton-Wenham Library. Learn a brief history of this tradition, then dive into creating your own Ukrainian Egg. This workshop session is reserved for teens in grades 6 through 12. Registration is required. All supplies will be provided. You will be using permanent dye and wax, so wear your getting messy clothes.
Back by popular demand! Kati Bourque will present a brief history on Ukrainian Easter Eggs and teach you how to create your own egg. All materials will be provided and you will go home with an egg that you made! This program is geared towards teens and adults, as you will be handling a raw egg, a lit candle, and permanent dyes.

This program will start with a beach walk to collect coastal treasures, and then we will head inside for crafting. Materials and inspiration provided.
The Annual Tree Burning at Riverhead Beach is scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2024. The Christmas Tree pile will be set alight at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to attend this community event . Trees will be picked up at the curbside from Wednesday, December 27, 2023, through Friday January 5, 2024, and will be placed at Riverhead Beach for the community bonfire on Monday evening January 6, 2025.
