As the sun warms the ground, you may come across a snake that slithers away before you have a chance to see it.  This is your chance to get up close to see and appreciate these creatures living in our yards and woodlands.  Rick Roth, local snake expert, and founder and Executive Director of Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team, will share some of his favorite snakes and discuss their lives, habits, and care.  Free for Dads today. Celebrate Father’s Day on the Field at Gillette Stadium

Celebrate Father’s Day on the Field at Gillette Stadium

Celebrate Father’s Day this year by treating dad to The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon’s fourth annual Field Day with Dad event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Gillette Stadium field. Tickets are on sale now at www.thehallatpatriotplace.com.

The June 19th event will feature access to the Gillette Stadium field where you will be able to toss a football inside the home of the four-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots (please note that natural grass will be covering the field for the Copa America Centenario international soccer tournament), take photos with Patriots Cheerleaders, tour the Patriots’ locker room and enjoy Patriots–themed inflatables. Event tickets also include admission to The Hall, which features two floors of interactive football entertainment and history.

Celebrate the New Year with a Walk in the Winter Labyrinth on New Years Day, 2016 at Strawberry Hill, 56 Jeffrey's Neck Road, on Smith Island, along the Eagle Hill River.  At its most basic the labyrinth is a metaphor for life's journey. The labyrinth is not a maze. There are no tricks to it and no dead ends. It has a single circuitous path that winds its way into the center. The person walking it uses the same path to return from the center and the entrance then becomes the exit. The path is in full view, which allows a person to be quiet and focus internally.
