Come play with a variety of building toys, including magnetic tiles and straws and connectors. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome, but please take note that some of these building toys have small pieces. Drop in any time between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. to participate.

Kids are invited to come to NPL to make their own custom birdfeeders. Make your neighborhood birds happy! We’ll create super-simple feeders with pipe cleaners & cereal.

Our annual Youth Shorebird Art Contest is currently accepting submissions from students grades K-12. We need your help to spread the word about shorebird conservation- so stop by anytime this morning to learn more about the contest and get started on your own original artwork. We will provide art materials and information about all the amazing shorebirds who use our beaches, as well as some tips and tricks for how to draw birds!

Join us for a class on making Ukrainian Eggs! Presented by Kati Bourque, (Head of Technical Services here at the Hamilton-Wenham Library). This program is open to teens in grades 6 through 12. All supplies will be provided. The class is limited to 15 participants so registration is required. Wear your getting messy clothes!
