Girls Rock Climb-A-Thon

Come to MetroRock Newburyport for a fun night of climbing! Proceeds will benefit Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area!

Hosted by Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center, this fun event is a fundraiser and climb-a-thon in support of Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area. Participants are encouraged to fundraise before the event and then come to MetroRock for a night of climbing complete with a music, pizza, ice cream, snacks and prizes! Our top fundraisers will be awarded prizes and all climbers will be entered into our prize drawing taking place at the close of the event.

River Valley Charter School invites parents to attend one of its Parent Information Sessions and School Tour to learn how RVCS is a good fit for your family. Learn about how to apply for the 2020-2021 school year enrollment lottery.

RVCS provides a rigorous academic program based on the Montessori philosophy and rooted in the history, culture, and ecology of the Merrimack River Valley. Students will reach their full potential as scholars and become self reliant and productive members of society. They will be adept at critical thinking and creative problem solving and will be fully prepared to succeed in future schools, careers and civic life.

Come join the fun at the Winter Kite Festival at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport.

Newburyport Youth Services and Kites Over New England invite you to join the fun for a day of winter wonder as kite flyers from around New England bring their large kites to fly over the field at Maudslay State Park. Bring your favorite kite as well! Come to one of two kite making lessons in the morning then fly the kites in the afternoon at Maudslay State Park.
