Come to the Cabot theater for a $1 showing of the classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory starring Gene Wilder sponsored by Harbor Sweets Handmade Chocolates. A sweet boy from a poor family dreams of finding one of five golden tickets hidden inside chocolate bar wrappers which will admit him to the eccentric and reclusive Willy Wonka’s magical factory. One after another, tickets are discovered by ghastly children – but will the lad find the last remaining one and have all his dreams come true?
Celebrate Earth Week at GUS with a variety of hands-on activities and nature-based projects led by GUS educators and partners from across the North Shore. This is a free, family-friendly event, open to the public.

BevRec invites teens to learn the basics necessary to umpire Little League and Girls Softball games. Open to anyone who will be 13 years old by March 28th. Training includes rules of the game, on-field situations and umpiring mechanics for youth games. All participants receive a rule book.
For our Stop-Motion Animation class students will learn the principles of Animation and create their own short film using various materials provided by FC Academy and objects found around the house. Students will learn to explore their creativity and storytelling skills while also implementing filmmaking techniques such as editing, camera use, and directing.

He has performed at events and venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Lollapalooza, and Pickathon, and throughout South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He founded FUNdamentals of Music & Movement, a fun approach to music classes for preschool children, which was later scaled to a national program and sold to RockStarts.

The Trustees of Reservations invites kids and their families to shake off the winter cold and join us as we celebrate springtime at Long Hill with our very special Spring Egg Hunt Trail! During this fun, family event, you’ll explore the trail and complete an exciting scavenger hunt as you go. Then, spend some time creating a spring-themed craft and visit the petting zoo on site. This springtime celebration is perfect for the whole family.

The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of child CPR with breaths, child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
