Grades 6-12: Learn how to paint a sugar skull in celebration of El Dia de los Muertos with step-by-step instructions! You will leave with a beautiful completed painting! Meets in the Program Room. Waldorf School at Moraine Farm hosts a class for you and your baby! Our experienced Waldorf teachers will share with you information and helpful practices to better understand and care for your baby. Themes will include your new role as a parent, early developmental stages, warmth and how to dress your baby, healthy rhythm for the day, sleep and the foundational senses. Parents will learn lullabies and games to play with their babies.
Bring home a baby doll for your little one - handmade by you! Be creative, be inspired by Elizabeth Stubbs, a Waldorf early childhood teacher and artist, and other doll makers in training. Dolls are made from all natural materials, sweet, lightweight, and oh so soft for hugging. Basic sewing skills are all you need for this workshop. $35 workshop fee includes hands-on instruction and materials to make the doll. Fun, good conversation and refreshments are part of this gathering, too. The workshop will take place at the Gatehouse. Limited to 12 attendees, register soon! Adults only.
Join Glen Urquhart School for this free family-friendly event to celebrate International Day of Peace. The GUS nature trail and grounds will be open for exploration and play, and we will host a number of activities to celebrate peace. Kids of all ages are welcome, with a caregiver, to join.

Each year in its annual survey, Cuvilly families are asked what they would never want to change about our preschool and that answer is always the animals.
Located in Ipswich, Massachusetts, Cuvilly is farm-based and nature-based. Cuvilly is home to many animal including four dogs, two cats, two pigs, two alpacas, three horses, one pony, one donkey, four sheep, three goats, five roosters, three geese, 10 ducks and 30 chickens. Our care and upkeep requires more money than you'd imagine.

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm invites families to enjoy a pancake breakfast topped off with maple syrup collected by the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Science in Nature program and evaporated with our partners at Valley View Farm in Topsfield. This culminating event will be an opportunity to come together in celebration of our second successful maple sugaring season. We will both enjoy the fruits of our labor and learn about the art and science of maple sugaring. This event is open to current parents, prospective parents and their guests.
Cost: $5 per person, maximum $20 per family.
It's back, a Pie Auction on Pi Day at Moraine Farm. Join us for the second annual fundraiser for the Waldorf Community Association. It is an adult evening filled with music, laughs, appetizers/wine, and loads of pie. Families in our community are making their best, most famous, secret family recipe pies and putting them up on the auction block. This entertaining night is one you don't want to miss.
Goddard School in Middleton is hosting 3rd Annual Touch a Truck at Goddard & Open House. Guests and friends will enjoy live music, old fashion Middleton Police Vehicle and K-9 Demo, a Party Bus and weather permitting a HELICOPTER.
Katherine Lewis, researcher and author of The Good News about Bad Behavior, will speak in Tower's Phillips Library. Ms. Lewis presents a comprehensive portrait of bad behavior—and highlights game-changing strategies. Lewis, a certified parent educator, walks parents through 4 empowering approaches, all of which share three key components, to help parents navigate tricky behavioral situations and work toward better solutions. Her outline of an Apprenticeship Model of parenting gives kids responsibility within increasing limits.
