Sunday Sessions happen on the last Sunday monthly at Appleton Farms in Ipswich Massachusetts

Join us the last Sunday of each month this pizza season for live music at Appleton Farms. Local musicians will play from 2-4:30pm during our wood-fired pizza picnic events. Bring your blanket, your appetite and your dancing shoes to this Sunday concert series. The summer goes by so fast, what better way to recognize the close of each month than by spending time with family & friends listening to great music at Appleton Farms!

Bradley Palmer was an avid equestrian. He laid out bridal paths and a four-mile steeplechase race course on his estate. Come see photographs and maps of these historic activities. Drop-in program; come anytime. Best for ages 8 years & up.

Summertime Birding for Families

Kids will learn more about our local birds and how to identify them at Joppa Flats Education Center in Newburyport Massachusetts

Want to learn more about our local birds and how to identify them? Joppa Flats education interns will take you on an easy walk and introduce you to a variety of birds, from egrets and herons in the salt marsh, to ducks and shorebirds along the river, to songbirds and hummingbirds at our feeders. We'll provide binoculars and field guides along with tips on how to use them. Get started on the hottest new hobby around - birding!

When you arrive, you’ll have 2 hours to explore the trails, open meadows, rocky shoreline, and hidden coves on the island. The Misery Islands are managed by The Trustees. Newburyport Yankee Homecoming's Family Fun Day has a lot to offer in events and activities.

Join Yankee Homecoming at the Nock Middle School as we start off our Super Saturday with good family fun!  Many local businesses, organizations and non-profits take part in our Family Day fun offering free crafts, games, activities and handouts.  Sit down for some lunch and listen to the band playing on the main stage or watch one of the performances taking part throughout the park.

Patton Homestead Military Service Day

Come experience miltary history and family fun at the Patton Homestead in Hamilton Massachusetts

The mission of this public event is to highlight and honor military service and veterans. The event is a day-long exhibition of vintage military vehicles, equipment, military reenactors, speakers – both veterans and academics – and other veteran-related attractions, held on the grounds of the home of one of America’s most famous and celebrated military families.
