Appleton Farms in Ipswich has added cheese to the list of dairy products made fresh on-site. A spreadable 'pub' cheese, a creamy ricotta style cheese and barrel churned hand packed butter are all now available at the dairy store in addition to their milk products that are exponentially superior to store bought milk.

'Weekend in Summer' will have it's world premiere in Ipswich, Massachusetts! The film tells the story of three young men and their weekend adventure in the Summer that follows their graduation from high school. Written and directed by Brendan Fay, an Ipswich native, the film is a true product of the Ipswich community.
Ipswich Museum will host the Friends of the Ipswich Library Book Sale this year during Olde Ipswich Days. The large selection will include hardcover and paperback books for children and adults, CD's and videos priced at fifty cents and $1. Proceeds will benefit library materials and programs, museum passes, and scholarships.

Ipswich Museum Educator, Stacey Fraser-deHaan, hosts a family workshop complementing the summer exhibit, “Ipswich Women in the Arts". Participants will tour the Heard House and learn about its last resident, Alice “Elsie” Heard and her artwork. Then, workshop participants will attempt to copy works from the exhibit, just as Elsie and other female artists of the 19th and 20th century copied the works of famous painters.
