The Musary brings Charlie Brown's Christmas to The Community House! The Aidan Scrimgeour Trio will bring to life and perform a LIVE version of the Vince Guaraldi holiday masterpiece (John's favorite!). This year they will be joined by members of the HW Elementary School Chorus! The event is FREE, although we kindly encourage attendees to make a suggested donation of $25 to support The Musary. We warmly invite you to join us at the event! As space is limited, admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Come and enjoy a continental style breakfast and get your picture taken with Santa. We will also have a letter writing station and music entertainment. Pingree School hosts the 15th annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit on their campus in South Hamilton, MA. Pingree . The exhibit will open in early September with more than 50 temporary works on display in addition to the 20 pieces in the permanent collection of Pingree School. The exhibit will continue through Thanksgiving weekend.
The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham invites children to bring their own flashlight or glowsticks for the tree and gazebo lighting and a Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Join us for a jolly evening of carol singing and holiday cheer, featuring Brian Doser, Peter Stewart, and Stage 284 friends! Santa will be arriving by fire truck at about 7:30pm. Free to attend! ECTA is holding its 7th Annual Thanks for the Trails 5k and Kids Fun Run the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Patton Park in Hamilton (November30, 2024). The Kids' Run will begin at 9:30AM and the 5k will start at 10AM. Using a scenic and challenging course and offering great prizes, this will be an event for all! Super prizes for top finishers, and many other terrific prizes!
Essex County Greenbelt Association will host the annual road cycle event to raise funds for conservation efforts on the North Shore! Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities can ride through some of Essex County’s most beautiful landscapes in this annual road cycle event to benefit local land conservation. Whether a seasoned road cyclist or a beginner, you can enjoy at your own pace one of three routes offered by Tour de Greenbelt: a 50 mile ride, a shorter route (25 miles), and Gravel Grinder Routes (40 mile and 28 mile), with off-road excursions into protected forests and reservations.

In addition to the moon (9/14 only) and Saturn well be showing off an assortment of binary and multi-star systems (imagine having 4 suns in your sky!), nebula, clusters, and galaxies, some of which are millions of light years away. Co-hosted with the Lake Gardner Improvement Association. This event is part of Trails & Sails.
