The Apple Harvest Run is one of the best autumn races in the region; situated in the pastoral town of West Newbury, MA, just 10 minutes from beautiful downtown Newburyport. The race includes a USATF certified 5-mile & 5K and a children’s 1-mile fun run and has become a family fun event for runners and non-runners alike. This year marks the 35th annual Apple Harvest Run in West Newbury, Massachusetts, and 100% of all proceeds benefit the Dr. John C. Page Elementary School.  

The Revere Beach Pumpkin Dash is an exciting and festive community event that combines fitness, fun, and the spirit of the fall season. Participants of all ages come together to dash along the scenic Revere Beach, adorned with vibrant autumn decorations and the unmistakable charm of pumpkins. This family-friendly run features a lively and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging both seasoned runners and casual participants to join in the celebration.

The Essex County Greenbelt Association is hosting the annual Vineyard Hill Trail Race, featuring both 5k and 10k options. The race takes runners over Vineyard Hill, through sections of Bradley Palmer State Park, along the Bay Circuit Trail, and across Greenbelt's scenic Shaw Field. The trails are mostly wide and rolling, though Vineyard Hill itself adds a challenging element to the course.

Come listen to some great music by two bands made up of Salem residents and others from Grade 7 through adult, under the direction of Cynthia Napierkowski, director of the Salem High School Band. Event takes place at the Salem Willows Shell, with the Salem High School Auditorium serving as a rain location.
