Come Walk, Run, Bike and Ride on guided trail adventures (for all levels) followed by a party featuring live music, live animals, games, great food trucks and local beer from the Tapmobiles of Ipswich Ale Brewery. Trail activities from 1-3pm and party from 3-6pm. Get outdoors and have fun while supporting ECTA and the 450 miles of trails that we maintain for your access to walk, run, cycle and ride!
Come to Glen Urquhart School as they host children's performer Parker Bent LIVE from LA for an exclusive free concert for kids! Parker Bent brings his original songs to over 450 kids every week throughout Los Angeles area preschools and beyond. His music is smart, cool, sophisticated, and fun. It's been played on NPR and Disney Radio, made the "recommended listen" list by the Grammys, has been featured in LA Parent Magazine, and most importantly has made tens of thousands of children laugh, dance, and sing.

The Akropolis Reed Quintet was founded in 2009 at the University of Michigan and is the first ever ensemble of its makeup to win a Fischoff Gold Medal (2014), Grand Prize at the Plowman and MTNA national competitions, and 6 national chamber music prizes in total. Hailed by Fanfare for its “imagination, infallible musicality, and huge vitality”, Akropolis has performed from Juneau to Abu Dhabi and has showcased at five national conferences. This concert is free, no tickets required.
Open to any middle school or high school band (two or more members) from anywhere on Cape Ann or beyond. No fee to enter. Deadline for registration is September 15. Five bands will be chosen to compete on Saturday, October 7th at the Congregational Church of Rockport. Top two winning bands play on Rockport New Year’s Eve!

The Ipswich Ale Good in the Hood block party, is a celebration of all things that are good in our hood! The day will kick off with a mini parade through Ipswich at noon, and then end back at the brewery where attendees can enjoy beer out of the Tapmobiles, food from Boston Burger Company, The Whoo(pie) Wagon, and Little Wolf Coffee Roasters plus live music from the Orville Giddings Band, The Whammy Bars, and DJ JimJamz Roots Reggae Riddims.
The Massachusetts Cultural Council is presenting a showcase concert featuring the excellence and diversity of music and dance traditions thriving in Massachusetts today. Performers are past or current recipients of an Artist Fellowship or Traditional Arts Apprenticeship, prestigious awards from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Come experience a Dominican carnival procession, then be enthralled by leading exponents of South Indian vocals, violin, and percussion, West African balafon (xylophone), djembe drum, and ceremonial dance, and Irish flute, uilleann pipe and old style step dance.
