Join the fun at the Swampscott Farmer's Market. We will line up at noon and take a walk through the market so the kids can show off their Halloween costumes.
The NYS Youth Council presents the HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL. Kids in grades 6-8 can come o the Nock Gym for some some Halloween fune! Pay at the door $5 for Rec Center Members/ $10 for non-members. Costume contest, games, Dancing, Photo Booth, Food and More. The event is 6-9pm, participants can leave at any time, but no re-entry is allowed. The event is planned, organized and run by members of the Youth Council and Supervised by NYS Staff.
Science you can eat! Make your own ice cream, fizzy soda, and more! Open to children ages 5+. Weather permitting, this program will be held outside, so please dress for summer sunshine!
The Notch Traveling Biergarten is stopping by Castle Hill. Enjoy a tasty session beer while taking in the magnificent views from the Grand Allee. Bring a picnic lunch or grab a bite from onsite vendor Empanada Dada. A limited number of picnic tables will be available. Picnic blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Interested? Simply make advance Castle Hill general admission reservations. No separate ticketing required.
Sawyer Free Library invites kids to a great program that digs into their creativity! There will be lots fo great craft activities for kids to express themselves including: make your poster for the Topsfield Fair, gorw a grass head, make a dinosaur skeleton, create a jeweled turtle and more! All Ages are welcome!

This is a great hands-on learning experience for children ages 2 and up!
Learn about the Folly Cove Designers' process, then get to work in the Children's Activity Center. Explore the Folly Cove Designs, create prints using stamps, foam shapes and styrofoam. Also, examine a linoleum block and tools similar to those used by the original Designers. This drop-in program is free for members and Cape Ann residents or with Museum admission. Meet the Cat in the Hat as part of the Books Alive! literacy initiative, generously sponsored by Irving Oil. Museum staff will read Cat in the Hat tales and kids can enjoy hands-on crafts, games and reading activities. The costumed Cat character will make frequent appearances for hugs and high-fives.
