Following the Gloucester Schooner Festival's Parade of lights in Gloucester Harbor, A fireworks display will light up the sky over Gloucester Harbor to celebrate a great day of maritime history and tradition. Good vantage points for viewing fireworks include Gloucester's Boulevard, Stage Fort Park, Pavilion Beach
Come to Rockport Massachusetts for a day of family fun! After a day of events including a lobster dinner fundraiser, childrens activities, live music, art demos, printmaking and an art walk, a fireworks display will light up the sky over Rockport Massachusetts! The Show begins at 9pm, and will be lit off from Granite Pier. Fireworks will last for 20-25 Minutes, and may just include a couple of surprises according to the fireworks committee.
Beverly Homecoming Grand Finale of Fireworks. Enjoy the fireworks by boat, or on your favorite Beverly Beach with your neighbors, friends, and family. The fireworks are set off in Mackerel Cove off of Lynch Beach and can be seen all along Mackerel Cove (Dane St. Beach, Independence Park). Join the fun in Essex for their 200th Birthday celebration featuring all kinds of food trucks including Indian food, The Farm Bar and Grille, Pomodori’s Pizza, Trolley Dogs, Cuesta’s Fiesta, Cod Squad, Whoopie Wagon and Mimzee’s. Plus live music by Uncharted Watahs and fireworks by American Thunder. Bicentennial tee-shirts, hoodies, commemorative calendars and Madame Varney tea towels will be for sale.
Come on down to Coley Lee Field at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School on Sunday, August 6th for a night of “pops” and big band music from Hillyer Festival Orchestra. And once the sun goes down….the fireworks go up. After much success with last summer’s centennial fireworks show, Peabody has decided to return with another Fireworks Spectacular! Mayor Bettencourt’s Annual Summer Concert and Fireworks Spectacular will begin at 7:00 p.m. Feel free to bring your blankets and lawn chairs.
Note: Due to the weather, these events have been postponed to Labor Day Monday. The Mayor's Race is a major part of the Gloucester Schooner Festival 2024, where participating schooners in the weekend activities compete for for the Esperanto Cup, Ned Cameron Trophy and Betty Ramsey Trophy off Eastern Point and East Gloucester.
