Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of the 25th Annual Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay Exhibit September 8-29 featuring 50 site specific sculptures by local artists addressing this year’s theme, ‘Thread' within the magnificence of Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. Look for the large green trail head signs featuring sculpture locations and instructions for downloading our simple phone app which will include the sculpture locations, photos, and artist statements.

For 42 years there has been the Art on Bartlet Mall painting show the first weekend of Yankee Homecoming. This year 60 artists again will be showing all media of work including a few hand-pulled printing artists. The artists are from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and even New Jersey. There are award winners in over half of the participants.
Get ready for Paint Night excitement at the historic Salisbury Beach Pavilion, home to the beautifully preserved antique Looff-Mangels carousel. Limited tickets are available for this event, so be sure to grab yours soon! Your ticket includes all supplies and instruction. Each canvas has a pre-drawn stencil, perfect for artists of all ages and skill levels. Our canvas is 11”x14”, and all colors of paint will be available, allowing for endless creative possibilities. On the last weekend of July, artisans and fine craftsfolk from all over New England will show and sell their work on the South Village Green in Ipswich, MA. Olde Ipswich Days is a favorite for all to meet and greet old friends and new, browse the booths and do some early holiday shopping, or make some timely indulgences. The fair features the works of more than 60 artists and crafters. Look for sterling, gold, or beaded jewelry, unusual photography, woodwork, knitted textiles, dried flowers and grapevines, cut or stained glass, tapestry, a variety of pottery, and paintings in all mediums, toys, and handmade soaps, and hot dogs and refreshments.
