Members always have lots of choice in their share and we have flexible pick-up times. It's a great way to support the farm. So many members tell us that their weekly trips to the farm really help them unwind. The farm needs local support now to ensure that they can continue to grow some of the finest locally-grown, organic produce available on the North Shore!
Apple Street Farm
We cultivate 6 acres of vegetables on Apple Street in Essex and at a few satellite fields in town. We also raise meat chickens, dairy goats, laying hens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and pigs. Although we are not certified organic, we follow organic standards: no chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, or GMO seed. We use organic feeds for our livestock when they're not on pasture. Our focus is on improving the soil and growing high-quality food.
