Bowling for Kendall is a fundraiser to raise money for the Spina Bifida Walk n' Roll - Team Kendall. $20 admission will get you shoes and 3 strings of bowling. Food and drinks available at the bowling alley for an additional price. Team Kendall will get 50% of the proceeds which will go directly to Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England!

The trucks are fabulous, the crew and officers even more so as they chat with children, allow the children to get on an din the vehicles, see different emergency vehicles in a safe and calm setting (not how most children experience them) and provide a wonderful photo opportunity for parents and grandparents as well as a great community spirit!

The MIT Museum shows an exhibit of the art and science of holography with The Jeweled Net: Views of Contemporary Holography. The exhibition created in conjunction with the 9th International Symposium on Display Holography, co-sponsored by the MIT Museum and the MIT Media Lab. Over 20 holograms created by international artists, as well as several from the MIT Museum collections, will be on display, and will remain open to the public through September 28, 2013.

Highlights of this event will include a 1 mile race, a fun run and 5k trail/road race. This is not just a race, though. There's plenty of fun stuff to do at the farm that make this a day long celebration for family and friends of the runners with educational demos, music, children activities, celebrity chefs from the greater Boston area, farmers market and the local craft brewer community.
