Maudslay State Park has created this program for their youngest crowd! For the young set that loves nature, the park interpreter will lead a three-part preschool aged program that includes a story, craft & walk that involves outdoor exploration. A different nature topic each week so come every week!
Come to this fun family-friendly sporting event that includes a kids bike race and in downtown Beverly Massachusetts! This professional road race runs a short circuit through the streets of Beverly, with categories for amateur, master and elite riders! It’s an evening of fun for the whole family whether you're a spectator or a participant!
Free! Fun safety course, bike inspections, and free helmets in the parking lot at Lynch Park. The George Robertson memorial bike rodeo is hosted by the Beverly Police Department, with generous contributions by the Beverly Kiwanis. All who attend will be instructed in bicycle safety, and all can participate in a safety obstacle course. There will also be bike inspections, free helmets (quantities limited) and more!
Newburyport Yankee Homecoming Kid's Day in the Park in hosted by the Newburyport Exchange Club. This free event starts with a parade for decorated bikes and doll carriages, with prizes for the best ones! After that, kids can get their faces painted, experience Theater in the Open, relax with a story organized by the Newburyport Library, participate in a sing-alongs, and watch a police department K9 demonstration. There will also be free food and drinks available starting at noon. Please stop by and join the fun!
It’s Homecoming Week and we have history for you! Drop-in at Independence Park for a scavenger hunt in the park!
