Manchester Woman’s Club Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

Don’t fix dinner on the holiday. . .  come to the Manchester Woman’s Club’s spaghetti dinner catered by Classic Cooks on Monday, November 11 between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Manchester Community Center. Dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, Caesar salad, garlic bread, coffee, tea or lemonade, and assorted cookies for dessert.

The Pete Frates 5k will raise funds to benefit Pete's Park in Beverly Massachusetts!

Come to Beverly to Race for a great cause! All race proceeds benefit Pete's Park in Beverly named in honor of Pete Frates. The purpose of the race is to raise money for a lasting maintenance fund for Pete's Park, an inclusive, accessible park in Pete's hometown of Beverly, MA. Pete is an internationally known advocate for ALS awareness and education. And, for raising funds to #strikeoutals with the ice bucket challenge.

Compassionate Care ALS invites you to attend the 8th annual Ales Over ALS: A Crafter’s Delight that will be celebrated in scenic Essex at the Shipbuilding Museum where the town and museum both take full pride in all things locally crafted from farm, sea and brew kettle. All proceeds from this fundraising event will go directly to Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS), in support of people living with ALS.

This October, we invite you to share a musical celebration of our journey. It began ten years ago when Voices of Hope was founded by a dreamer… a man who envisioned a world without cancer. Now, just a decade later, more than 150 performers have come together to dedicate their time and talents to that same vison.

The Danvers Kiwanis Annual “Rubber Duck Race” raises money for scholarship funds for local college students

The 26th Annual “Rubber Duck Race” hosted by the Danvers Kiwanis raises money that benefits scholarship funds for local college students. THE RACE is  rain or shine, and hundreds of Rubber Ducks will be dumped into the Porter River adjacent to Popes Landing. The drama escalates, competition has begun. As the lead duck streaks towards the finish line, “Who will be the WINNER?”  Join us for pre-race family-fun festivities starting at 9:00 am.
