Wingmasters present Eyes on Owls at the Ipswich Public Library in Massachusetts

Wingmasters with Jim Parks present Eyes on Owls. Owls are not evil spirits, wise little philosophers or Walt Disney creations. Nor do they wing about carrying messages, despite the way they're depicted in the Harry Potter books. In fact, owls are probably more misunderstood than any other kind of bird. These are hunting birds, yet their sharp beaks and talons are partly hidden under feathers. Owl have more and softer feathers than other birds, and this unique plumage gives them a plump, rounded look.

Spooky Pies Baking Workshop at the Trustees of Reservations' Appleton Farms in in Ipswich Massachusetts!

Want to learn how to make a festive pie in time for Halloween? Join our baker Kami and learn some tips and tricks to manipulate pie dough to make some creepy creations! Everyone will walk away from the class with pie dough and their own Halloween themed desserts to take home. No need to pick between Trick or Treat as once you have learned your new tricks, the class will end with a shared treat!

Chess Club a HWPL

Kids can learn about chess at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library in Massachusetts

Join Governor's Academy student, Dylan Uttam, for an 8 week workshoip in chess.  There will be 8 Wednesday afternoon workshop sessions from September 20 until November 8.  Designed for children ages 8 - 13 years old. The night sky is spectacular when you can view it from the middle of a state park, where our street lights don’t spoil the view! History Tour Series at Maudslay

Kids will learn about the sprawling estate that once existed at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport Massachusetts

There are so many stories about this beautiful former family estate. Join the park interpreter for this series of walks to view the house sites, gardens and farm complex to learn more about these areas of the Moseley Family estate. For ages 8 & up.

Hayrides at Appleton Farms

Hayrides at Appleton Farms in Ipswich Massachusetts are fun for the whole family!

Experience the beautiful scenery, crisp air and changing and vibrant colors of Appleton Farms in the fall as you enjoy a hayride across ths idyllic property. Rides will depart every twenty minutes between 12-4pm on weekends and 4-7pm on Fridays. Space is limited, pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
