We've assembled a list of some of our favorite apple orchards north of Boston. Many offer pick-your-own apples and apples that are available for purchase by the pound. In addition to apple picking, many of the orchards offer trail walks, farm stands, baked goods, petting farms, country stores, hay rides and other child-friendly activities.
Fresh produce frozen fresh foods and baked goods. Kids can feed rabbits, goats, pigs, sheep and chickens, play on a large wooden train, watch a puppet show, or just play in the large sand box.
Maple Crest Farm is open to the public for in-season strawberries and blueberries, and will offer Christmas trees in 2011.

Be sure to call for times, availability and special event information, such as flashlight tours and haunted tours. Corn Mazes are a great outdoor activity for families to enjoy while social distancing!
