The Cape Ann Symphony is thrilled to bring you an exciting concert of brass music — Blazing Brass! Hold on to your seats as these five musicians take you on a musical journey through the decades that you will not soon forget. Featuring music of George Cohan, Leonard Bernstein and America’s March King, John Philip Sousa.

Come explore what nature has in store at some of our most amazing wild places on the north shore with naturalists from the Joppa Flats Education Center. Our engaging and experienced staff will introduce families to local forests, beaches, and wetlands to make observations in nature, identify wildlife, and enjoy hands on science activities outdoors. This Event is Full! Join us for a wintery lantern-lit stroll through the property to one of the many beautiful secluded spots on the farm. Once there, our staff will lead you in a solstice ritual of reflection and meditation around the fire, looking back on the past year and welcoming the new year, celebrating the end of days getting darker and looking forward to the increasing of the light. We look forward to having you at Appleton to mark this moment in our journey together.

Swifties can dress to the nines in their favorite eras outfits and dance like they're made of starlight in honor of Taylor Swift's 34th birthday on Wednesday, December 13th from 5:30-7:30 PM. We'll spend the evening singing, dancing, or just listening along to our favorite TSwift songs, making friendship bracelets, testing our Taylor-trivia knowledge, and more!
