Please join the Cape Ann Symphony Woodwind Quintet and pianist Kathleen Forgac, presenting musical fantasies and works inspired by myths, legends and lore. This program will explore the magical sounds of the woodwind quintet and then showcase each of the instruments alone featuring works by Nielson, Poulenc, Mouquet, Debussy and others.

There's something for everyone in the race series - serious runners, kids, enthusiasts and even walkers are invited to race! Proceeds from the races go to local charities like The Open Door. Students in grades 2-6 are invited to weekly evening chess instruction by high school student Flynn at levels from beginner through advanced players on Mondays in the Children’s Room. We will plan a chess round-robin tournament in December (winners will receive trophies) to mark our chess learning at the half-year mark. The Children’s Room will provide chess boards and pieces. This program is supported by the Oliver P. Killam, Jr. Fund.
Bring your stuffed animal friends to this fun event! Join us as we learn about taking care of animals with the creators of the children's book Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals! Jennifer Welborn & Rozillia Mh will read their book & show us how to give our stuffies a check up with a mini veterinarian kit which children can take home with them.
Kids of all ages! Enjoy a Spring Scavenger Hunt in Children's Room. If they find all of the scavenger hunt items, they can choose a shiny prize from the Treasure Chest! Sponsored by the Danvers' SEPAC in collaboration with the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers. Registration in the event is optional, but will help us ensure that we have enough prizes! Kids who do not register may participate.
The Hamilton-Wenham Public Library invites kids to get creative and have some fun! Join Ms. Eva of Early Childhood Partners for a themed story and activities that practice process art methods. The Process Art Workshop is designed for children ages 2 - 6 years old and their adult. Older children are welcome. This class will be held on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:00pm from APR 3-JUN 5 (no group on 4/17). Process Art Workshop will take place in the Children's Program Room. No registration needed.
