Join us for the 39th Annual Essex ClamFest and Arts & Crafts Festival, from 11 am to 4 pm in Shepard Memorial Park in Essex. Although the highlight of the day is the Chowder Tasting Competition (Come taste Cape Ann’s finest chowders from Noon to 1 pm and vote for your favorite!) there is also a great variety of family-friendly activities, including arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, live reptile and kid's games, live Police K-9 Demo (11am) and plenty of food vendors on-site!

Stop by the Sail Away Book Shop located in the gym space at Abbot Public Library's interim location during sale hours. All books in the shop will be on sale, and the Friends will be holding a raffle. On Saturday, March 30, fill a bag of books for only $10!

Join Chef Liz in this hands-on workshop. Participants will cook with Trustees Grown Meat and vegetables from our fields when in season, and other local farmers’ ingredients to create an exciting multi-course meal. These classes provide an opportunity for participants to increase their comfort in the kitchen through new knife skills, techniques, and flavor profiles. There will be equal parts cooking and eating, and class ends with a shared meal, so bring your appetite! BYOB.
