MIT Spark is a one day event on the MIT Campus where kids in grades 7-12 are invited to take part in classes taught by MIT students and other community members. They can select from a wide range of courses that range from Origami to Theoretical Spacecraft Propulsion to Magic to the Stagecraft of Dueling and everything in between!

Second Friday Programs are oriented for open exploration with opportunities to attend performances, demonstrations, and lectures through out the museum galleries. November's 2013's Second Friday will focus on food science. Featuring Kenji López-Alt, Chief Creative Officer of Seriouseats.com and members of Clover Food Lab.

Kestrel Educational Adventures invites you meet at the 'Get Outside Center' and caravan to a nearby wild to explore, get muddy, go wading, or stay dry and just watch! Kestrel naturalist Clayton Kern will lead an adventure in the study of reptiles and amphibians. Each week, participants will learn to catch and identify animals and will participate in a wildlife study. Your findings will be displayed at the Kestrel Educational Adventures Get Outside Center in Gloucester!
Shakespeare invites his audience into the Forest of Arden, where the beneficent and chaotic forces of Nature will melt away the synthetic bonds of the city and restore us to our proper selves…perhaps. One of Shakespeare’s most simple, flirtatious and playful comedies, As You Like It takes us away from the preening theater of the court to explore the primal theater of Nature; here is a play that belongs outside. Join us for a journey into the woods as we overlay the Forest of Arden on Maudslay State Park for Shakespeare’s As You Like It.

Bring the entire family and enjoy a night under the stars while watching your favorite movie stars on the big screen. There will also be some really fun treats for the kids, carnival type games, and prizes starting at 6pm! All movies will either by rated G or Rated PG-13.
