Emma Andrews Library and Community Center invites you to the library for their annual fundraising plant sale!   As you are contemplating your gardens and find an excess of plants or plants that need dividing, please donate them to us. Plants may be dropped off in the backyard of the Emma at 77 Purchase Street on Friday, May 31. And then, come join us on Saturday, June 1 to find wonderful offerings for your garden. All proceeds go to fund the general expenses to keep the library running.

Our dedicated team will strive to provide the very best in local goods while creating a new avenue to give back to our community. Funds raised by the MCFM will directly benefit the enrichment of Magnolia.

Amesbury Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies

The Amesbury Memorial Day Ceremonies is organized by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2016 and will start at 9:00 AM at Alliance Park where a wreath will be thrown into the Merrimac River in memory of deceased Marines and Sailors. From there veterans will gather and place wreaths at the VFW Cemetery plot in Union Cemetery, then to the Amesbury Doughboy and Justin Park, and then to the Polish War Memorial on Market Street.
