Healthy Kids Running Series Fall 2024 | Danvers

Healthy Kids Running Series at Endicott Park in Danvers Massachusetts.

Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids compete each week for a chance to earn points. At the end of the Series the boys and girls who accumulate the most points in their respective distances are awarded trophies. All participants receive a medal on Week 5!

Landmark 5k Road Race and Kids Fun Run

Landmark School's annual 5K Road Race is a family fun event that helps support the mission of Landmark School.

Landmark School's 5K Road Race and Kids 1K Fun Run are part of their Homecoming & Fall Festival. It is one of the largest events of the academic year, bringing together students, parents, alumni, faculty, friends, and members of the broader North Shore community. This event is also part of the Landmark Cares fundraiser, which helps students who have dyslexia reach their full potential.

Wicked Half Marathon

The Annual Taché Realty Wicked Half Marathon is held in historic Salem, Massachusetts! Participants will have a 4 hour time cap to complete this course. The course will offer aid stations every 1.5-2 miles and there will be a ton of cheerful volunteers on the course. Everyone will receive a custom finisher medal that you will be a nice addition to your collection. The event attracts close to 1000 runners, including elites to beginners traveling from all over the world. We promise the scenery in Salem and Marblehead will make these miles fly by! The Taché Realty Wicked Half Marathon will be supporting the Salem Food Pantry & the Salem Children’s Charity.

Lone Gull 10k

The Lone Gull 10k starts at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester and follows one of the most beautiful shoreline roads in New England. All proceeds go to the programs at The Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf. Race day registration, parking & staging is at the Good Harbor Beach parking lot.

Thanks for the Trails 5k

ECTA is holding its 7th Annual Thanks for the Trails 5k and Kids Fun Run the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Patton Park in Hamilton (November30, 2024). The Kids' Run will begin at 9:30AM and the 5k will start at 10AM. Using a scenic and challenging course and offering great prizes, this will be an event for all! Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities can ride through some of Essex County’s most beautiful landscapes in this annual road cycle event to benefit local land conservation. Whether a seasoned road cyclist or a beginner, you can enjoy at your own pace one of three routes offered by Tour de Greenbelt: a 50 mile ride, a shorter route (25 miles), and Gravel Grinder Routes (40 mile and 28 mile), with off-road excursions into protected forests and reservations.
