A Cape Ann holiday tradition, the Cape Ann Symphony Pops is a celebration of with favorites by Anderson, Bach, Herbert, Tchaikovsky, Rutter, Handel and more. The orchestra will be joined by the Cape Ann Symphony Chorus directed by Wendy Betts. We will conclude with the ever popular audience sing-along.
Cape Ann Makers Market, 2021 Spring Market is a great way to see what local makers and artisans have to offer! Weather permitting this will be an outdoor event, otherwise will be held indoors. Kids are invited to the The Marblehead Museum & Historical Society for a gingerbread workshop! Come create your own entry for the 2025 Marblehead Gingerbread Festival. Two workshops are schedule for kids ages 2-4 (with adult) at 1pm and kids 5-10 are at 3pm. Registration required.

The Battle of Lexington is commemorated every year on the third Monday in April. We pay tribute to those patriots who first fell on the Lexington Green on the morning of April 19, 1775, and to the courage and fortitude of those who continued the fight throughout the day. Come to Lexington, the birthplace of American Liberty, for reenactments of historically important battles, specifically the Battle of Lexington and Parker's Revenge. There will also be numerous guided walking tours and trolley tours available, memorial ceremonies and parades. Check the schedule and plan a trip to see where the country we live in began!
We will plant Pansies and other spring plants into a spring basket to make a living Easter Basket that can be given as a gift or kept for your Easter doorstep. Nothing says Easter and springtime like Pansies!
