Edward Speck and Joshua Shack bring back a favorite TITO Holiday Panto. We’ve updated our version of this classic fairy tale, added a holiday spin, plenty of adorable mice and even a few playful clowns to lead audiences on an enchanted adventure. It’s everything that you loved the first time you saw Cinderella, with some new surprises, just for fun!
For the first time, the Great House at Castle Hill is open for tours on Labor Day. Grab the family and take the Guest of the Cranes tour on the hour and our roof tour, Cupola with a View, at 11:30 AM and 1:30PM. Unique gifts and food options are available at our gift shop and Grab and Go cafe with 10% off for Trustees members. Last tour of the day is at 3PM.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it’s time one again for our Spring Pantomime! This time around we’ll be following the (mis)adventures of Jack and friends as they take the path much less traveled by, and learn some valuable lessons along the way…!!! Edward Speck and Josh Shack have planned another silly, playful Spring Panto that's full of surprises. Follow the Theater in the Open flags from the Maudslay parking lot. Allow ten minutes to stroll to the site and $5 for parking ($6 for out of state vehicles).
An evening adventure for the whole family! Join us for a hike down the Cedar Point trail to the Pine Grove. We’ll look for the flash of fireflies in the fields that stretch to the marsh, along the fringes of the woods that line the trail to the Pine Grove, and in the dark of the Pine Grove itself. Did you know that different species of fireflies have different flash patterns? We’ll try to differentiate between our bioluminescent buddies and count how many different species of fireflies live around the Crane Estate. We’ll finish our evening observations with s’mores around a campfire in the Pine Grove!

Throughout the weekend, blooms from #FlowerPop will be given away to the first 100 people stopping by each day, and making this Instagram worthy activation a charitable one, $1 will be given to Rosie’s Place, a local non-profit serving women in need, for every social media post using #FlowerPop. Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat will be visiting the Children's Museum of New Hampshire to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading via the Books Alive program. At this Books Alive event, museum staff will be reading Curious George stories by Margret and Hans “H.A.” Rey throughout the day. The friendly costumed monkey character, accompanied by the Man with the Yellow Hat, will be popping in and out to greet children, exchange a hug or high-five, and pose for photos.
