Scenes, formerly knwon as Cold Spring Harbor, is New England's premier tribute to Billy Joel, featuring a two-hour, hit filled show featuring classic hits such as "Uptown Girl", "My Life", "Piano Man", and more!!
Display performed Pyrotechnico. Co-sponsored by various local merchants, banks and the citizens of Newburyport. Bring your blanket or chair, sit and relax, listen to the concert and get ready for the oohs and aahhhs. A spectacular fireworks display is being planned for your enjoyment. Local High School aged bands will compete to see who rises to the top and with top winners getting cash prizes, performing live at other Yankee Homecoming Events and paid gigs for the band. Watch local student bands battle it out on the stage, and help your favorite band by voting for them!

This beloved family-friendly event returns to the Newburyport waterfront stage on Monday, July 28th, from 11 AM to 1 PM, bringing an exciting showcase of music, dance, magic, poetry, and more.

Newburyport Yankee Homecoming Kid's Day in the Park in hosted by the Newburyport Exchange Club. This free event starts with a parade for decorated bikes and doll carriages, with prizes for the best ones! After that, kids can get their faces painted, experience Theater in the Open, relax with a story organized by the Newburyport Library, participate in a sing-along, and watch a police department K9 demonstration. There will also be free food and drinks available starting at noon. Please stop by and join the fun!
The Annual Yankee Homecoming parade is a Traditional New England Parade that is sure to please! There will be a variety of entertaining floats and marchers. Yankee Homecoming and the people of Newburyport all come together to watch a parade on the first Sunday in August. The streets lined with families, friends, and visitors have made this parade a long time favorite summer tradition.
Now in its 32nd year, this one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival. It features multiple races including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! Cash prizes for overall and age group winners! There will be snacks and beverages at the finish line and beer tickets for a free beer and post race viewing party at the Winner's Circle Sport's Bar post race! Proceeds to benefit Winner's Circle Running Club and Newburyport All-Sports Boosters.
