Vered is an award winning musician who brings the joys and intricacies of family life to music. Her show is fun, funny, gets everyone singing along, and sometimes will even have parents shedding an emotional tear. Inspired by her experience as a music therapist and psychotherapist, and her experience as a mom of three, Vered approaches relationships in the family with wonder, curiosity, and humor. Her music is reminiscent of a Doo-Wop band, using playful vocal harmonies, lively horns, pots and pans, and beatboxing to get everyone jumping and singing along. Vered’s albums Good Morning My Love, Hello My Baby, and Songs for Sisters and Brothers all received prestigious awards. Vikings come to Derby Wharf in Salem Massachusetts as part of Trails and Sails!

Experience life on and around an authentic Viking ship. Vikings are known for their “raiding and trading” but they were also master crafters in wood, metal and fabric arts. Based around our flagship Polaris, visitors will get to see, feel, and hear the sounds of costume, metal working, and wood working. They will get to experience what it was like aboard a small Viking longship and even try their hand at rowing.
