Celebrated on the birthday of Lord and Lady robert Baden-Powell, the founders of the Boys Scouts and Girl Guides; millions of men, women, boys and girls learn about how people from all parts of the world live.
Waldorf at Moraine Farm School is offering an entry level course that will introduce the basic principles of beekeeping and biodynamic agricultural practices. At the end of the class, participants will know everything you need to know to establish a new honeybee colony. Participants will get a basic orientation in caring for the land in a way that supports the local pollinator population.
Glen Urquhart School invites children ages 4-7 to attend a fun 90-minute outdoor program on the Glen Urquhart campus in Beverly. Activities will include creative field games, a guided hike on the woodland trail, and songs and stories in the GUS greenhouse classroom.

Toddlers and parents/caregivers are invited to have fun at the Cohen Hillel Academy's PJ Library. Lappin Foundation and Cohen Hillel Academy invite toddlers ages 18 months to 2.9 years old with their parents or caretakers to Movin' & Groovin' with Phyllis Eidelman. Toddlers will enjoy stories, songs, creative movement, snacks and playtime.
Preschoolers are invited to join the fun this spring at Cohen Hillel Academy. All preschool programs are free and open to all preschoolers and their caregivers.
Grassroutes Preschool is an educational program offering a learn-through-play curriculum for the children of the North Shore.
With four play areas inside and a very large play area outside, Grassroutes offers a plethora of materials, activities, and opportunities for curious learners to explore, discover, and most importantly, play. Since Wendy Sullivan has taken over as director of Magic Years Preschool, a lot has changed. Together, she and Ms. Heather are making Magic Years everything we, as parents, hope it to be for our little ones. The overall environment has become calm and organized, making the roles for all involved much more manageable.
