Yankee Homecoming Bed Race

Yankee Homecoming Annual Bed Race hosted by the Lions Club of Newburyport

The Newbuyrport Yankee Homecoming Bed Race is an annual event in Newburyport hosted by the Lions Club of Newburyport. The race is a ¼ mile team sprint down Federal Street to the finish line. Each team consists of 3 pushers, 2 pullers and a 'sleeper', and the goal is to get to the finish line with the bed and sleeper in the fastest time! This is a fun event for the community and always draws a big crowd. Come cheer on your favorite team, or just watch the fun! Funds raised will go to Lions Club charities.

Cardboard Boat Regatta at Lynch Park

Annual Newburyport High Street Mile

The Annual High street Mile includes categories for kids races and is part of Newburyport Yankee Homecoming!

Now in its 31st year, this one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival. It features multiple races including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! Cash prizes for overall and age group winners! There will be snacks and beverages at the finish line and beer tickets for a free beer and post race viewing party at the Winner's Circle Sport's Bar post race! Proceeds to benefit Winner's Circle Running Club and Newburyport All-Sports Boosters.

Imagine a beautiful Summer evening in the seaport town of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Thousands of runners will enjoy our breathtaking 5K & 10 Miles courses along the ocean, through the bustling downtown and charming New England neighborhoods. Model Boat Building and Regatta

Kids can build a model boat and race it in a regatta on Redd's Pond in Marblehead

BRING THE KIDS - BRING YOUR FOLKS - BUILD & SAIL YOUR VERY OWN BOAT! This popular event begins with a workshop where participants construct model boats from provided kits at the Lee Mansion Gardens and ends with a competitive regatta at Redd's Pond. Sunday at Saint Peter's Fiesta is focused on Ceremony and Tradition including the blessing of the fleet in Gloucester Harbor!

The Saint Peter's Fiesta is an annual festival in Gloucester, Massachusetts celebrating the city's fishing heritage, close-knit families, community, and religious traditions.
