With Flounder and Sebastian at her side, Ariel will need all of her courage and determination to make things right in both her worlds.

Formerly named Lactation Support Groups, the Mother & Baby Group is facilitated by a Lactation Consultant/Registered Nurse to support every woman’s mothering experience.
You do not need to be a breastfeeding mom to enjoy this group. All aspects of mothering are discussed. Guest speakers will present periodically on topics such as car seat safety, infant nutrition, and infant growth & development. Drop-ins welcome!

This new group (for moms, grandmothers, and female caregivers only) is focused on adjusting to the first few months of parenthood to support new mothers and their babies.
This group meets Wednesdays from 2:00pm-3:30pm in the Higgins Conference Room at Anna Jaques.

This group meets on Tuesdays from 10:00am-11:45am at Anna Jaques and at 2 Water Street in Haverhill on Thursdays from 10:30am-12:00pm. Guest speakers present periodically on topics such as car seat safety, infant nutrition, and infant growth and development.

Beat the winter blahs during school break! Drop in for an hour or stay all day, either one or both days, for a vacation destination that suits your schedule. Participate in half-hour presentations at 11:00 am or 1:00 pm. We'll show you how to blend science and art based on the day's theme. It's free-flow learning for the whole family. This vacation week fly by will focus on life in the deep sea and the special creatures that live there!
We had such a great reaction to last year's program "The Role of the Honeybee in Our Environment" that we decided to offer another bee based program. This time, gardening guru Andi Ross will present her new program, "To Bee or Not to Bee." Landscaping to attract pollinators and other beneficial insects as well as birds and butterflies is not only trendy, its critical to our own survival. This lecture will explore what plants will attract beneficial wildlife to your gardens with slides of glorious gardens filled with wildlife.
Grades 6-12: Once a month we'll be conducting a taste testing of different food items or sampling the latest food gimmick. Bring your appetites! This month's food is Pretzels!
If you have ever seen tracks in the snow, sand, or soil and were curious about what made them, then this is the program for you! Refuge staff will lead you through the basics of identifying common animals through the clues that they leave behind. A brief introduction to animal tracks and other sign in the visitor center classroom will be followed by a trip to the refuge where we will look for tracks and attempt to determine their owner’s identity.
