The Marblehead Farmer's Market boasts 15+ local farms, and booths with an educational spin nutrition, vendors and farms selling homemade prepared goods and craft vendors that are switched up in a rotation basis week to week. Additionally there are entertainers and exhibits by environmentally conscious organizations and non-profits.
Marblehead's Memorial Day activities start at at Clark's Landing, starting at 8. Participants will muster begining at 8:30 am at the Old Town House. At 9am, the main parade will begin at Pleasant Street, continuing on to Memorial Park for a ceremony, then turn left on Spring to Elm Street. The parade will then take a left off of Elm Street to Cressey, and merge onto Green, taking a left on Turner Road before concluding at Waterside Cemetery.
Join North Shore YMCA and the Lynch van Otterloo YMCA for the 2025 Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA Hills to Harbor 10K Road Race on May 18th! Traverse the hills and shoreline of Marblehead and finish the 'Hill to Harbor 10K at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA!
Come join the annual Marblehead Carnival sponsored by Junior Class at Devereaux Beach. Each year this carnival serves as a major fundraiser. You'll find rides, games, and great food! Come and enjoy some delicious cotton candy, live games, carnival rides, and food trucks all while supporting the Marblehead High School Senior Class! Please come with friends and family to enjoy this wonderful Marblehead tradition!
Students in grades 2-6 are invited to weekly evening chess instruction by high school student Flynn MacCallum at levels from beginner through advanced players on Mondays in the Children’s Room. The Children’s Room will provide chess boards and pieces. This program is supported by the Oliver P. Killam, Jr. Fund.
The Annual Tree Burning at Riverhead Beach is scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2024. The Christmas Tree pile will be set alight at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to attend this community event . Trees will be picked up at the curbside from Wednesday, December 27, 2023, through Friday January 5, 2024, and will be placed at Riverhead Beach for the community bonfire on Monday evening January 6, 2025.
A Tower Open House is an exciting opportunity to visit campus, engage with students and faculty, and tour the school with parent and student admissions ambassadors. Open House events begin with a welcome from members of the academic leadership team followed by campus tours. Tower School's "Summer at Tower" program offers a dynamic and enriching experience for children aged 3 to 13, with an expanded schedule of nine one-week sessions running from June 16 through August 15, 2025. The program is designed to cater to various interests, featuring activities led by a diverse team of counselors, including artists, science enthusiasts, foodies, techies, teachers, and camp-loving college students. Each week is centered around a unique, creative theme, ensuring that multi-week campers enjoy a wide variety of experiences throughout the summer.
Our free Parent and Toddler Workshops are teacher-led, interactive, fun and open to everyone! Each workshop has its own unique theme—incorporating music, art, read-aloud stories and sensory explorations—selected to delight children aged 2–4.
The Marblehead Festival of Arts invites families to their holiday arts-and-crafts show at Marblehead Arts Association the first weekend in December. The market place is held in conjunction with the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce Marblehead Christmas Walk, a town-wide event. Each year the market place has many local and regional artists who bring their arts and products to Abbot Hall.
