Sawyer Free Library is excited to host its first annual Comic-con.

The Sawyer Free Library’s first-ever Comic-Con will be on Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 2 Dale Avenue in Gloucester, MA.

GloCon 2022 is a free, all-ages event celebrating comics, graphic novels as art, literature and pop culture that will bring together fans, young and old, and creators for a jam-packed day of special guests, workshops, live programs, games, photo ops, and more! Celebrating the library's graphic novel and comicbook collections, costumes are encouraged! 

Registration only for workshops required.

Eastern Point Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program

Junior Sailing Program at Eastern Point Yacht Club

The mission of the EPYC Junior Programs is to develop in its participants an appreciation and love for being on the water in a safe, fun and supportive environment. With some brand new boats and programs, there is something for everyone this summer at Eastern Point. From Harbor Mice to safe boating and a maritime adventures camps offered each sessions. These programs complement our top notch learn to sail and race team programs. EPYC Junior Sailing programs are open to the public, so children can participate whether or not their families are members of the club.

Pathways for Children offers a FREE mid-February Vacation Zumba session for families!  Come to the The Open Door for a fun dance session that is bound to get the sillies out!  Choose from two session times taught by Manchester Athletic Club Gymazing Dance Instructor Lindsay Mzaouakk! Free Family Movement & Art at CAM Green

Come to CAM Green in Gloucester Massachusetts for a Free Family Movement & Art session.

This summer, stretch, jump, and move your body on the lawn of the Cape Ann Museum Green with instructors from MAGMA. After the workshop, grab some free art supplies from CAM’s Art Cart or try your hand at a self-portrait for Community Portrait Project. Make a day out of it by bringing your lunch and picnicking on the Green while you make art!
