The BevRec will be hosting a Holiday Toy Drive at Lynch Park to benefit the great work that Beverly Bootstraps does for our community. After you’ve wrapped up a day of delicious food and giving thanks…not to mention the shopping…it is time to pay it forward.
Longtime instructors, Greater Boston Safety Training will lead this one day class (4 hours). This course is designed for Teachers, Coaches, Babysitters, Construction workers, and the general public. This classroom course includes essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA as well as CPR and AED certification training - all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. The course is modular to meet the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. The core module comprises general principles, medical emergencies and injury emergencies.

Using fresh greens, foraged dried plant stalks, pine cones, nuts, faux berries and leaves, cinnamon sticks, and more, you’ll create a unique 8″ to 12” wreath during this two-hour workshop. This wreath is a lovely way to bring the energy of the season into your home. All materials will be provided, though we suggest bringing a box to transport your wreath home afterward.

Learn about our native seeds and then get your hands in the soil to sow some seeds that you can take home. Class will be held in the Horticultural Learning Center next to the green house at Long Hill. All materials will be provided. Green Beverly is excited to announce our Beverly Pumpkin Smash! Bring your pumpkins to New Entry at Moraine Farm, and participate in our composting event! Enjoy the beautiful farm scenery while you launch your pumpkins from a trebuchet into a giant compost pile! We also offer classic lawn games and products from local businesses. In 2022 we diverted 40+ tons of CO2 and 30,000 pounds of organic waste from landfills. Come join the fun with and expected crowd of 2000 or more for another 'smashing' event!
This Halloween, Greater Beverly YMCA, Be Healthy Beverly, a youth substance use coalition, and the Regional Youth Prevention Network, is excited to present $1 Fright Night at The Cabot! Middle and High School students from across the North Shore are welcome to stop by between 4:30 and 6pm for some Halloween tricks and treats, before settling in with complimentary popcorn and soda to watch Gremlins on the big screen from 6-8pm.
The Trustees of Reservations invite you to tour the gardens at Long Hill Gardens in Beverly, Massachusetts to celebrate Autumn and Halloween! Come explore our beautiful property as we transform Long Hill into a celebration of autumn and the Halloween season. As always, there are a few new surprises and of course many more pumpkins this year. Follow our seasonal-themed trail that will feature over 1,000 jack-o’-lanterns, hundreds of mums, elaborate Halloween decorations, light displays, music, and more. Beverly Main Streets invites kids and families to Downtown Beverly for the Annual Downtown Trick or Treat event! Come Downtown Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4-6pm for Downtown Trick-or-Treat! This event is a collaboration with the City of Beverly, and provides a fun night downtown for little ones and their families. Look for the orange flyer in windows of participating businesses, and stop in to say hi and receive a treat. Downtown Trick or Treat is held rain or shine, but please check our website and social media in case of extreme weather.
