Join Glen Urquhart School for this free family-friendly event to celebrate International Day of Peace. The GUS nature trail and grounds will be open for exploration and play, and we will host a number of activities to celebrate peace. Kids of all ages are welcome, with a caregiver, to join.

Waldorf School in Beverly hosts a Spring Egg Felting workshop.

Spring is coming! Did you know that in many cultures all over the world, spring is celebrated with colored eggs? Join us to celebrate on Saturday, March 14, from 9:30am - 12:30pm. We will needle felt colorful eggs using soft, unspun wool fleece. Elizabeth Stubbs, a Waldorf early childhood teacher and artist will provide gentle, hands-on guidance to attendees. All skill levels welcome. $40 workshop fee includes instruction and materials and everyone will bring home at least 3 beautiful eggs. This workshop will take place at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. Limited to 12 attendees, register soon! Adults only. We will also enjoy warm drinks and goodies and friendly conversation.

CoastSweep: Bass River

Come help Salem Sound Coastwatch with the Coastsweep cleanup of the Bass River in Beverly, Massachusetts!

As part of COASTSWEEP Beach Cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean along the shore in Beverly Massachusetts. Trash collected will be measured and analyzed, and the data will be sent to Washington DC to aid the government in creating legislation to minimize trash in our oceans! This specific cleanup is coordinated by Salem Sound Coastwatch. Maple Syrup Pancake Breakfast at Waldorf School

Enjoy a pancake breakfast with local maple syrup at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm in Beverly Massachusetts

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm invites families to enjoy a pancake breakfast topped off with maple syrup collected by the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm Science in Nature program and evaporated with our partners at Valley View Farm in Topsfield. This culminating event will be an opportunity to come together in celebration of our second successful maple sugaring season. We will both enjoy the fruits of our labor and learn about the art and science of maple sugaring. This event is open to current parents, prospective parents and their guests.
Cost: $5 per person, maximum $20 per family.
